Mark is now director of manufacturing and engineering at Albon Engineering, which provides automotive components to equipment manufacturers worldwide. They specialise in the design and manufacturing of engine parts. Mark is now based in both the US, in Norman, Oklahoma, overseeing the US branch of the company, but also in Southend, Essex, near the UK depots. The company continues to grow and a fourth depot, which specialises in connecting rod manufacture, was opened in Ruma, Serbia in 2014. As a racer, Albon competed in Formula Vauxhall Lotus, British Formula 2 (winning a race in 1992), before his brief attempt at Formula 3000 in 1993.
